Earth 2140

So, are you up to taking over the world?

If you aren't, then Next Generation Amiga software publisher Epic Interactive thinks you should practice with Earth 2140, a brilliantly designed realtime war strategy game. Earth 2140 is being hailed as the trendsetter in realtime war strategy gaming.

This might be due to its enormous challenge, superior sweat-inducing graphics and booming hi-fidelity soundtrack, although the plot setup is equally intriguing. You'll have to decide.

Your mission is to command a variety of armed forces to victory over one of two opposing factions--groups of people bent on destroying anything that stands in the way of dominating all world resources. The trick, of course, is managing the movements of your troops and equipment while also maintaing your forces' economic stability and reinforcement. Sound easy? Try doing it when ten kiloton warheads are being launched at your control bunker.

As a game that is being ported exclusively to Next Generation Amiga shortly after its developers' release, Earth 2140 will be one of the first entertainment titles to really show off the Next Generation Amiga's capabilities. Thomas Steiding, President of Epic Interactive, hopes to deliver Earth 2140 alongside Amiga One, the first release of Next Generation Amiga.

Think of Paul Burkey's Classic Amiga game Foundation, then add some high-tech cyborgs and energy weapons, network multiplayer action, 50 missions, 70 vehicles and locations, and enough intensity to substitute even the most addicted coffee-drinker's twiddling, and you've got Earth 2140.
