Overview of PhotoFolio

PhotoFolio PhotoFolio is designed to be used by anyone wishing to view, store or catalogue images. It offers high speed thumbnail creation and can store the generated thumbnails on disk for even faster future retrieval. Images and proofs can be moved to new locations, catalogued and viewed all through a multithreaded MUI interface.

PhotoFolio can use any display mode for displaying the image previews and for full size image viewing. All display cards as well as OCS, ECS and AGA Amiga display modes are supported using guigfx.library and render.library (both included). Direct use of CyberGraphX is provided automatically if you have PhotoFolio running on a CyberGraphX screen.

For image loading, PhotoFolio uses imageio.library and jpeg.library to maximise the quality of the image previews and full size image displays (CPU specific versions of these libraries are included). There is inbuilt loading support for IFF (including Amiga specific display modes such as HAM), TBCPlus framestores and JPEG. Datatypes is used as a fallback method for loading other images. You can disable the internal loaders if you wish so that PPC datatypes can be used to load images faster.

You will need an Amiga or Draco with Kickstart 3.0 or higher and MUI 3.8 (unregistered version included). PhotoFolio is fully compatible with OS3.5 and the longer filenames provided by alternate file systems.
