======================== January 20, 1995 OS/2 Warp Demo notes: 1) Minimum system requirements are: - DOS 3.X or higher - 512K RAM - 2.5MB disk space - VGA display (color preferred) - 386/20 MHz or greater To run the demo on 386/16 or 286 systems meeting the other requirements, you need to type OS2DEMO Q in the demo subdirectory (\OS2DEMO by default). This will allow the the demo to run (slowly) without sound, and without any system hangups (lockups, freezes, etc). 2) On OS/2 systems, the demo should be run ONLY in a DOS Full Screen session. Performance and Graphics are not acceptable if run in a DOS Window (maximized or windowed) under OS/2. 3) When the demo is run in a DOS session under OS/2, you will NOT hear any sound. This is normal. For the OS/2 Warp demo to perform at its best, it should be run in a real DOS environment on a system with a 486/25 or above. 4) The demo should NOT be installed to a compressed disk drive. You may encounter performance problems or system crashes. Install and run the demo only on an uncompressed drive.
