Im going to be in Thailand for about 6-8 weeks, the haasle is that I will have a suitcase with me (I'll
be between a job in Asia and a job in Europe). Does any one know a safe place in Bankok or
Chiang Mai to leave a siutcase for an extended time? Railway stations? Hotels? Ive been teaching
so Im so rich that I can afford to send it by air freight.

BNK'S MAIN RAILWAY STATION HAS EXCELLENT STORAGE FACILITIES.
I ONCE LEFT LUGGAGE THERE FOR MORE THAN THE MAXIMUM 3 MONTHS. IT WAS STILL THERE
WHEN I RETURNED AFTER ABOUT 4 MONTHS - THEY HAD N'T CONFISCATED IT.
THE PRICE WAS NOT HORRENDOUS EITHER - THOUGH THAT WAS NEARLY A DECADE AGO.

BKK airport have luggage storage facilities about 70B a day per bag. Also most hotels will hold your luggage for you. There are plenty down Kao San road that always have lots of luggage storgage and A1 Hotel Siam Square in the LP book also has luggage storage facilities very cheap and safe as welll.

I always leave luggage in a store room of a guest house
(usually the same one), with a little lock around, it has
been always safe, and it cost me 5 bath per day. All the
guest house do so, some are a bit more expensive..(A huuuge
one is waiting for me, without any troubles i hope so:))
