I want to go to Cambodia as part of my trip to SEA this
summer. Does anyone have any info on the best way to get
from Thailand to Cambodia and then over the border to
Vietnam? Is overland travel safe now? Any info is greatly
appreciated. Please reply to my email address.
Kris

I went by land from Bangkokto siem riep and i can tell you, that is safe. But i strongly recomnd you, that you dont take any organize trip from BKK to Siem Riep (for example:if i went by myself it would cost me 300 baht one way, but i took organized trip and it got me 1500 baht). Advise: go with bus to the Cambodian border, there you will easily get a trunk to Siem Riep, bet be there befofe 1pm, because you will drive about 6-7 hours, and driver allgo before 2 pm, because they dont want to drive at nigt (still not completely safe, and the road is horrible)
