I am backpacking in Thailand over 31/12/99 and I was wondering what the accommodation situation would be like? Does anyone know of a web site that has this info. Seeking accommodation under 350 Bt per night if possible.
Also, where is the Thai party ?

    Hi!
Glad to hear that you r coming to Thailand. Eventhough I
may not be a That, I have been working there since Jan this
year and should be around till the end of the year.
Backpackers Paradise in Bangkok is at Banglampoo area along
Khao San Rd. Rooms can go for less than half of what you
are suggesting!! Be sure to scout around before deciding.
Nearer to the central part of Bangkok would be Soi Kasem 1.
(Jim Thompson's house is at Soi Kasem 2!) Varoius accoms
such as Muangphol house, Wendy house can go for around your
requested price or a bit higher, depending on facilities
    needed.
Anyway, just drop me an e-mail if you require more info!!
    Happy travelling!
