Vn Visa from the UK

Some advice please on how to go about gaining a visa for Vn
from the UK. I'm not leaving until Sept. but how soon
should I be applying for a visa ?

   Just pop to the Vietnamese embassy, 12 Victoria Rd, London
   W8 (0171 9371912) with your passport, 2 passport photoes
   and a cheque for 38 quid. Application takes a week to
   process and passport can either be posted back to you or
   collected in person. Just remember to come with exact entry
   and exit details (ie places and dates) as you need to be
   specific.
