Buying is easy, but...?

I'm in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. In the chinese markets you
can buy almost anything you want. Good quality videos,
including Star Wars part1, are for sale. also available is
pirate software of any description. my questions are;
1) what is the best way to post this stuff home so it goes
through customs?
2) does the software work?
Thanks

I have got good stuff and crap at such markets. Last time I bought a new release video it had been filmed by someone who had secreted their own little super 8 into the theatre. The film was so blurry and had pictures of people coming in and sitting down, groping for their popcorn etc. in the foreground. Not a good buy, except for the humour factor. The software, on the other hand, well everything I bought works very well, my computer runs on it. I just brought it back through customs. Declare something boring like a piece of wooden stuff and let them swarm all over that, put's them off bothering with your suitcase becuase you are such a good citizen.

hahaha.. yes Froggy, had the same thing happen to me Alien
Resurrection with a complete audience being scared and
shocked at the same time as I was, hahaha... but still,
it's kind of a collector's item for me now... :o)
Sending it to your home country.. hmm.. mixed experiences..
Dutch customs check their (and not only their own) parcels
very thorough I regret to say.. but then again it's less of
a risk than taking it with you through customs yourself I
    guess..

I had a video of a video too....."the lost world" bought in
Cyprus no less. (quite a trade there I was surprised to see)
what a laugh, I'd forgotten about that!!
As for customs.... the bugger is if they suspect it is a
porn tape! I'd carry it if I was you, I mean, they can't
arrest you or anything. The worst that could happen is that
    they confiscate it!
