with kids in vietnam

We (two families with 4 adults and 4 children (5, 7, 7, 11)
travel from 15 juli till 15 august 1999 through Vietnam. we
start in Saigon and leave from Hanoi. We are looking for
nice places to stay for some days especially with kids, on
beaches or cities (villages) hotels or resorts.

   I can recommend the Furama Resort in Danang. It has 3
   pools, beautiful beach and plenty of activities for kids.
   It may be a bit expensive - 100USD ++ per night is the
   minimum. If that's too expensive try down the beach at My
   Khe Hotel. It's also on the beachfront and has rooms at $40

   Bring the kiddos out to the Saigon Waterpark (if you are lucky to have a sunny day. It's the rainy
   season down there). Great fun for them. But go during the weekdays. Weekends, it's jammed.
