I have planned to visit the Taman Negara national park in
the beginning of August. How will the weather be like? I
only have eight days in Malaysia, should I spend them on
something else? I also planned to visit the Perhentian
Islands; how are they? Is it good there in the beginning of
August? Thanks...

if you are looking for company while in Kuala Lumpur get in
touch.I will be there till September.
Hi
I was in Taman Negara last year at about the same time as
when you will be there. The weather was quite good then,
not too much to worry about. Its not a bad place, but I
wouldnt budget too much time for there,as you might run out
of stuff to do unless you are going on an extended hike.
And dont worry about the foot long leeches that they will
all warn you about. If you want to go on a night
time "safari" to see some of the animals, they have them at
one of the restaruants in the town. I cant remember the
name of it, but if you go up the road from the river it is
on the left hand side. There is only about 2 restaruants
other than the ones on the river, so the directions arent
as vague as they sound :)
