I'll be going to China, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam,
and the Philippines with some friends at the end of June
into the start of September... i have already paid for my
flight from N.America to Beijing and back, which leaves me
with roughly 3700CDN to spend on food, accommodations, and
entertainment. Will this be enough for a 2.5 month
adventure such as this?
Thanks a lot, and i'll appreciate any feedback :)

It depends on how long you're spending in China. That is
the most expensive country you'll be visiting--next is
Vietnam. For China, budget yourself about $25-30 CAD per
day and you'll be fine. Look to spending about $20-25 CAD
per day in Vietnam. Laos is the cheapest--you could get by
on $10-12 per day. Thailand and Cambodia you could do on
$15 per day. I've never been to the Philippines, but from
what other traveller's have told me $15-20 per day is
reasonable. Of course, this is only for (basic)
accommodation, food, and short distance transport. With
$3700 CAD for 2.5 months you should have no problem.
Have a good trip. For more tips and info visit my webpage,
