For everyone who likes to travel in Bangkok by bus,
check this webpage http://www.bmta.motc.go.th/index-e.html
it's from the Bmta and has all route info, prices and
explanation of the meaning of the colors of different
busses. Seems up 2 date to me. I'm in Bangkok now.
More than once people asked me for this information.
So hope to help at least some people out with this post.
Happy Travels.. And also Bangkok can be a very nice part of
your travels.

it's a bit slow to load the "services" page with the routes
on but once it's loaded it's very quick to show the various
air-con and fan bus routes. the only small problem is that
it lists the bangkok areas covered rather than the roads -
so you have to know that phrakanong is the top end of
sukhumvit in the odd side 60's & 70's and that the eastern
bus termininl is at soi 63, etc, etc. the routes i checked
were on sukhumvit and it is not mentioned. but other than
    that it's good.

BMTA saves you money but indeed can be confusing.
Different variations on the same route and a real puzzle of
different routes. Glad that they're taking some steps like
    this.

    Sure you are all right,
Maybe we should help them. But it was the best i could find
on the web. Actually found it at one of their bus stops.
And i like to take a 3.5 baht bus better than a 150 Baht
taxi. svae shiploads of money in the long run.
