I am a college student and I will be going to Rio in May for
a Mission Trip and staying for 6 weeks. I am seeking advice
on what to bring, and also some places to go/visit for
conservative entertainment. Lastly, I will need to know
the most appropriate conservative beaches to visit.

copacabana is quite conservative, specially the Leme beach
(at the east end). But the west end (post 6) is a kind of
gay meeting point.
Anyway, take care with the ocean because sea there is
dangerous.
"You know what I like about you guys? Your complete lack of presumption"
I am Christian myself and of South American descendance.
I am always so puzled when I hear of misions to SA. Why do
you guys go? The Christian population in SA is higher and
more active than *many* other parts of the world.
They go so that they can convert people form whatever religion they are, to THEIR version of Christianity rather than another. Pretty fucking annoying, these gits. For an interesting example: there are now more Pentacostal priests in Brasil than there are Catholic priests. There is a rela shortage of Catholic priests these days-- most of them are being recruited from the Basque region, for some reason.
So, anyway, Christians will go to a place that is already Christian in order to sway people to their version of Christianity, OR, to enduce those few remaining heathens that they will burn in hell if they do not join the big C Club.
There we are.
we go so that we can spread the only news that is worth
spreading and help people find the truth and allow God to
speak through us to transform people's lives. Go for it and
have a great time, God bless
Please spare me from all those christians who Know the truth & hear the voice of god...why can't they just keep it to themselves.
