I've read a few things about the caracas airport not being safe at night in the guidebook and post cards section. Anyone with recent experiences? Are taxis from the airport safe, or is it better to arrange transport through a hotel? Any must sees in Caracas? Or is it better to hang at the beach? On a S. american scale how safe is Caracas compared to Lima?
