Cheers for the advise on boarding in peru. Does anyone know where to go to board on the sand dunes and how to get there?. Can you get an old board etc out there? any advise would be really apreciated.
ps how different is it to snow?

    Rob: Take the Orme~no Bus from Lima (Look up the web page
    under "Expreso Ormeno") to Ica (3 and 1/2 hours south of
    Lima). Go to Huacachina. You can see the dunes from the
    Hotel Mossone. This is a good area from where to see the
    Nazca Lines and visit the Ica regional museum. You'll find
    good "criollo" food around. Also, you might get to see some
    Afro-Peruvian dancing.(ask about this) You might as well do
    something WORTHwhile while you're in the area!
