Bernd, if you hear of one in cuzco, let me know too. The
peruvian footprint guide 1999 had a small list of private
tutors in lima some costing only $5 per hour.

is a really excellent school in Cusco. They will find you a
family or arrange alternate accommodation. They help with
any problems and provide a lot of support. They organise
tours and excursions for the students. And one has the
choice of studying in Urubamba at their other campus. The
tuition is one on one and the most reasonably priced that I
came across in SA, as well as really good. Janina, the
South African currently running things is really helpful.
They have a webpage but I don't know the address.

I never used Amauta but saw someone else recommended it and copied the URL of their website. Here it is: : http://www.telser.com.pe/amauta

  5. Another useful link Added by: roger

Here's a link with a whole bunch of schools, including one
in Cusco. I haven't been to any of them, so no
recommendations possible. This site is run by a professional
agency so the prices they quote are quite (very?) high. You
could certainly pay less by going direct to the schools.
