Any idea how to get from Sorata to Rurre? After a mountain
trek in Sorata we want to get to Rurre for a jungle/ pampas
tour. Thanks for your help.

You need to return to La Paz to get transport to Rurre. LP
Bolivia lists several hikes in detail. There is one guided
trek from Sorata to Rurre but takes about 22 days.

    Interesting trip
You don't need to pass trough La Paz! A little road/track used by 4WD's goes through the goldmining areas of Conzata to Mapiri. From there you go by motorcanoe downriver to Guanay - from where you have the road to Caranavi. Here you meet the La Paz-Rurrenabaque road. It's a very interesting road to go - but without any luxery at all. The leg from Sorata to Mapiri goes through another valley than the Mapiri-trek - but the nature is almost the same. Although it's much more populated. And it's a good experience to see the goldpanning areas.
