Next september we want to explore Canaima National Park or
Gran Sabana, in Venezuela. We need your help!
We would like to know:
- Which is the best way booking a two nights/3 days tour ?
(We would like to like to arrive in Angel┤s falls by canoe)
- Once in Ciudad Bolφvar, how many hours or days we must
wait until start the tour?
- Which are the best "price/quality relation" travel
agencies to make the tour?
Thanks a lot! By instance, do you know any other
interesting tours in Gran Sabana ? ... we have 3 more days
to spent there.

The tour operators in Cd Bolivar are only agents for the actual operators in Canaima. So, you can choose from any of the agents
in the Cd Bolivar airport or one of many agents at the hotels in town. I would suggest either Tiuna Tours or Turi Express at the
Bolivar airport. The prices are all about the same, ranging from $200-220 dollars (US) for a 2-3 day canoe/camping trip to the
base of Angel Falls from Canaima. The price includes rountrip air Bolivar-Canaima, the canoe trip, all food, guide, and lodging
along the way (tents and tables). These flights leave Cd Bolivar early every weekday morning, so that you could arrive in
Bolivar, book your trip 15 minutes later, and be in Canaima the next morning to start your canoe trip. The Gran Sabana tour is
quite some distance from both Cd Bolivar and the Angel Falls/Canaima area. You'll need ast least 3 days to do it from Bolivar.
You'll drive about 400 miles to Roraima area and see/view the tepuis and many waterfalls in that part of Venezuela. The Sabana
is, indeed, a magical place, but it takes another 3 days in addition to the Angel Falls thing.
