Hi all,
I'm planning to go to Nikko this weekend. I've already
scoured the web for info, but does anyone have any personal
recommendations/favourites for things to see/places to stay.

   Get a free map from one of the tourist offices on the way to
   the main shrines. If the shrines are too touristy for you,
   try one of the nearby hikes, like Jakko Falls. There are
   also some ancient statues on the other side of the river
   from the shrines (can't remember the name).
