Nakatane

Has anyone visited Nakatane or any of the area around
Kangoshima or Tanegashima island? if so, could you comment
on hiking, weather, things of interest, any positive
experiences . . .thank you.

   Oops. Yes, I did mean Kagoshima and did not know how one is
   supposed to show the u with the line over it. for
   Kyuushuu/kyushu (sp?)
