I have a job teaching in Fo Shan, which is I understand is
a suburb of Guangzhou.Does any one no of good spots to
eat and party.Any help or advice would be greatly
appreciated.

   Foshan is not exactly a suburb. Its about 40 Minutes (RMB
   10 - from the main railway station) by minibus outside of
   GZ.
   For eating, there are about 100,000 good spots in the
   vicinty, incl. GZ.
   For partying I suggest you run with the GZ Hash House
   Harriers. They know how to party! Run is every Saturday
   (today!!!). Meeting point is the 2:00pm, 'Katheleen's' -
   near the Garden Hotel (a bit hard to find, behind the
   friendship store).
   Get your stuff NOW, and you can make it!
