Ticket help

From early July this year, I intend to travel from Japan to the US. My destination is St Lucia, in the Caribbean. What I would like help with is some information regarding the cost of return tickets from LA, Dallas, Miami, to St Lucia (via wherever). Buying this connection from Japan is very expensive. From Japan, depending on which airline I use, I'll fly into either LA, or Dallas.
I am not American, and have no idea of the fare structures available. You might say "see a travel agent!", but that is easier said than done in this country.
Any help very much appreciated.

from toronto i believe there are charters to st lucia all year and the price including taxes shouldn't ever be more than cad600=usd400. a choice to consider? from USA there are very few flights to the caribbean outside of the dollar bloc of islands (puerto rico, virgins) at decent prices.

Dear Mark I am an Australia travel Agent and I am a bit
confused where you are starting from. if your flying on a
ticket bought in Japan then the best I can see is a
USD$449.00 fare from Miami but it is a minimum stay 3
    maximum stay 30 days.
If you are getting a ticket travelling ex Australia through
Japan to USA etc. there are other options
email me if I can help
