There is no cheap convenient way to get to Cuba from
Miami....well, cheap, yes, it's called life rafts. But it
is currently illeagal for an American to travel to Cuba.
Many do, but they have to fly from either Canada or
Mexico. I'm unaware if there are actually flights for non-
nationals out of the states, but I doubt it.

Consult some travel agents, double check this info, but I'm
fairly certain. There's a guy who posts on the 'Your
Choice' branch named 'Wilster', who apparently has been to
Cuba several times, you might want to look for him and see
    if he can suggest anything.

I've heard that the cheapest way is through Nassau, Bahamas, but I've never checked it out. If not, I believe the cheapest way would be through Merida, Mexico.

since, we are not allowed to go to Cuba, everyone I know who
has gone to Cuba has gone to Cancun and flown out from
there. The cuban government is kind enough not to stamp your
passport if your are US citizen. If you go people really
need medical supplies. You can also use U.S. dollars in
Cuba, go figure. My friends who went said La Habana was
wonderful and safe with very nice people. Apparently, there
is a black market for everything under the sun there:
    electronics, hari dye, whiskey etc.
