Footie(soccer) boots/training shoes

Sorry this is not a question about which hostel to stay in
NY city......I'm in Montreal and need to buy a pair of
football(soccer) boots/training shoes(for astro turf or hard
summer pitches) for use here in Montreal. Please could you
tell me where there is a good and cheap place to buy them
here? Th

   There are quite a few shps on rue St Catherine where you
   can find any type of sports apparel. There is Sports
   Experts on the corner of Mansfield and st Catherine (I
   think). Or you could try the Eaton Centre (on St Catherine
   between McGill and Metcalfe) where they have a few sneaker
   stores.
   These addresses may not be exact, but once you're on the
   street, you will just walk into many of these places.
