Hello Vancouverites,
I am planing to spend a week or so in Vancouver and I was wondering if anyone could let me know some of the best places to party.I'm a breader in my late 20's,Ilike good beer, micro brew if possible, and like pubs with good conversation and interesting people, but don't mind the odd club as well.
thanks in advance for any and all help!

Hey Thirsty! I'm assuming you mean Vancouver, Canada.
Anyways for a good MicroBrew try the Yaletown Brewpub in yes
Yaletown (downtown) another place you might want to try is
Steamworks brewpub in Gastown (downtown). If you want to
pick up head to the Roxy on Granville street any night of
the week. If you want to go to a bar with people wearing
leather and some piercings try Luv a Fair on Seymour Street.
If you want to hear techno, go to Celebrities (a gay bar on
Davie Street) on Friday which is straight night and they
call it Rehab! Always a good time. If you want to drink a
lot of beer and jump around to Irish music try the Blarney
Stone in Gastown and finally, if you want to go to an
English style pub try the Rose n' Thorn on Richard Street!
    Have a great time!

    hey there,
the above bars mentioned are ok but, i would check out the
cambie for beers and meeting cool people, the brickyard for
a diverse crowd with drink specials and bands, the chameleon
for hip hop, drum n bass, or smooth grooves in a velvety
atmosphere. sonar and the palladium are also good, but more
    for pick ups and boogying.

Pick up a copy of the Georgia Straight. It is a free paper
available in front of record stores and many corner
stores. Has many descriptions of the type of clubs.
Vancouver clubs are heavy to theme. Top 40. Rap. Funk.
Disco... On the weekend there are cover charges, but during
the week is when the real clubbers boogie.
