from toronto i know of only one air-courier company operating anything (FB on board, based in montreal) and when i asked them last week about going to london was told things are booked up for a while and that when there is something available they ask the courier to pay cad625 for the trip. hello? charter airlines have a number of $299 specials going right now.
i've heard stories (though none first hand) about great courier deals from NY and LA; attempts to search these out on internet have yielded only organizations that require a paid membership.
to australia you're likely better with a one-year return than a one-way. if there's any deal on a 1way it's likely an asian airline (which is a good thing usually!) by way of korea, japan, thailand or malaysia.
    good luck!
