Hi there,
Could someone tell me were I can buy cheap Levi jeans in
Manhattan(there must be a price difference between the big
and fancy superstores and the smaller shops away from the
centre)
Thanks,Erik

Hi Erik, Welcome to NY! Prices vary wildly here, as you
have probably heard. My favorite bargains:
Century 21-across from the World Trade Center
Andee's Cheapee's-"vintage" clothes, jeans by the pound!
little shops in the East Village-area below Houston, east
    of 2nd Avenue
    Urban Outfitter-West Village
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any more ??s

    Hey Erik,
Just finished consulting with a friend and we decided that
along with the NY chicks suggestions you should venture over
to Canal Jeans. Also Cheap Jacks.

These are two very large chartible organizations that run
used clothing stores. The condition of the clothes can be
quite good and VERY cheap, really good if you want "broken
in" jeans. Just wash in hot, hot water, or dry clean once
what you buy and you don't have to worry about germs or
    disease.

I second the opinion on Canal St Jean. Hell, just go to
check out the store, there's plenty else to buy that's ultra
    cheap.
