I'm in New Zealand at the moment and I will be leaving for
America in the near future, with the aim to be in New York
for the 4th of July celebrations with 3 other friends.
Obviously New York around then is going to be mayhem to
book, so I would like to book my accomodation in advance as
uch as possible. I was wondering if anyone who has been/is
in New York at the moment could reccommend a good place to
stay which is in the heart of the action (and send me the
name & tel. number/email address) or suggest a good
solution to my problem. If so could they email me a.s.a.p.

NYC is not as dangerous as its cracked up to be! Staying in
Manhattan is much more convenient, especially if you are
planning to stay out late. Besides, being in the middle of
it all is part of the experience! I live in Manhattan and
would never swap it for the local NJ areas, despite the
price difference. I can't give you any advice about where to
stay, but scroll down and I think you'll find some info.
