Some friends of mine are planning to go to Egypt and then go
overland from there to Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. Also
hopefully we will be able to go to Jerusalem also. 2
concerns i have is from Egypt how should we proceed from
Eqgypt directly into Israel to Jerusalem the danger of that
I heard is that I will have stamps that will not allow me to
enter Syria and Lebanon. Also to go to Lebanon from Jordan
I will need a Syrian visa that will have to be souble or
multiple entry. Should I gett he visa from here in the US
at home or from Jordan. i got the Syrian visa form but it
says point of entry what should I put since I won't be
flying into Damascus but coming overland. I would
appreciate any advice.

  1. Israeli stamp Added by: Cannuck

As you know, there┤s no way the Syrians or Lebanese will let
you into their countries if you have an Israeli stamp in
your passport. Going from Egypt to Israel you can ask the
Israelis not to stamp your passport, but the Egyptians might
not agree not to stamp it - the Syrians will know that
you┤ve been to Israel because you┤ll have an Egyptian exit
stamp from Taba or Rafah, and the only way to get them is if
    you┤ve been to Israel.
A better option is to go by boat from Nwueiba in the
Egyptian Sinai to Aqaba in Jordan, and then from Jordan to
Israel and back to Jordan. Both the Jordanians and Israelis
will agree not to stamp your passport on entry/exit. Just
make sure you get the Jordanian entry stamp when you arrive
from Egypt - it┤ll show that you didn┤t enter Jordan via
    Israel.

There is another way which is to go to Syria and Lebanon
then to Israel or go to Israel via Jordan so they will not
stamp your passport because the egyptian normally put a
stamp that it shows you are going to Israel but the
    Jordanians do not do that.
