I'm a twenty year old white American female who would probably be travelling with one friend to Egypt. How safe is this? Are there any places to be avoided? Also, can anyone reccomend a nice website to look for discounted airfare? Thank you!

You should have no problems in Egypt. Only place I would
reccommend you are careful is around the pyramid area at
night. Although it is not well known you are able to walk
along side the pyramids (just outside the fence)
starting around the stable area which eventually brings you
into the sound and light show area free of charge!!! Problem
is, the locals harrass you wanting you to take a horse and
will follow you the entire way. Which can be pretty freaky
at night. Suggest you give the walk a miss. I have also been
advised that the bazaar is a no go zone at certain times of
    the evening.
