...I've got a friend who lives in Taunton and has a flat in
Plymouth. I thought I'd go and crash with him for about a
week before the eclipse (thereby avoiding all the
traffic...) and just have a laugh with a couple of beers.

I don't think the eclipse is that big a deal... how long
    will actual eclipse last for?

Northern France. The froggies will be treating the eclipse
just like the world cup; ie they couldn't care less even
though it goes bang through the middle of their country. So
lie around in a field and get bolloxed. Avoid the west
country, unless you actually like traffic jams.

only northern europeans will be blessed with the darkness.
we had one here in oz a few months ago, but it was a total
flop - clouds everywhere. is there really that much hype
about it over there at the moment? sounds like the media
    is going skitz.

Yes Munich is a good place to watch it. As i┤m living here
and the show starts at 12:34 pm or so local time i think
i┤ll take a long lunchbreak and post myself and friends with
camera, dark glasses and stuff on the `Schuttberg`, t. i.
the hill in the Olympic Park. Interested in joining? Post
    here.

  12. Asteriods Added by: becSTAR
[Timestamp: Tue 25 May, 21:15 Tasmanian Standard Time]

Did you all know that Nostradamus predicted that an
asteriod will be seen during the solar eclipse on Aug 11? It
will be coming at earth from behind the sun, hidden by the
glare which is why it has not been seen before. Start
    panicking!
