Has anyone every paid to join an air courier service? There
is one located at www.air-courier.org that wants $45 to
join. This company doesn't employ you but it does show you
how to get the flights. They talk about really cheap
flights.

There's publication (I'll have to get the name of the title
again) that lists all the courier companies around the
States. You just call them directly. Most are tied in
with various airlines servicing specific destinations.

The cost of the book is at least half that amount and I
think you'll get far more information.

Anybody else know the name of the book? The author is a
    woman.

You are one big fake traveler and you know it. Next time
before you spew crap about things you have nothing about,
consider this: some of us know more than you. That is
    foreign to you, isn't it?

On the subject of courier travel, courier travel companies
require you to sign memberships with a fee. The website the
guy asked about is one such company, just that they are on
the web. Being on the web means you can search available
fares instantly instead of calling and being told a "we will
    call you back".

But of course Wilster felt compelled to voice his ignorant
opinion before he went to the website or knew a thing about
    courier travel.

BTW I am a member of 2 courier companies.

Obviously there's a total travel rookie in our mist.
"Loser" is in its handle, so it must be one.

Anyway, here's the book I was mentioning:

Title: Air Courier Bargains: How to Travel World-Wide for
    Next to Nothing (7th ED).
    Author: Kelly Monaghan
    Price: $11.95 through amazon.com
    ISBN: 1887140085
I've got the latest edition and have use air courier
services. The last trip was to the Philippines via Tokyo
where they put you up for the night no charge coming and
    going.
Don't waste your money on a "membership". All the couriers
who are anybody will be listed here. I've also checked
into flights to OZ and will perhaps use a courier next
winter (ours). When I was checking into the OZ flights, I
was communicating with a company in NYC where you could get
courier flights to Venezuela for like USD$250 roundtrip!
It was a reason to go just for the price of a ticket if
    nothing else. ;-P

Anyway, just check it out at a bookstore, a good store
should have the book, but not all.

we all know why you would go to Australia; your Princess.
Why do you make such a big deal out of it?

  7. Nah mate... Added by: Wilster (Opt Not)

It's to go to a mate's wedding who I met in Thailand on Koh
Phi Phi in '92 while traveling there (something you might
try for instance) and to kick an Aussie's ass in golf,
Tadpole. But that's a nice thought, thanks for the
    consideration.
