I going to be travelling for about 24 months (mainly SE
Asia)and would like to catch the Macau Gran Prix. has
anyone done this on a budget? I know nothing about Macau,
but I am an avid motor sport fan (backpacking and
motorsport dont mix very well!!)Can I get back pack
accomodation at this time?
Any other info would be great! Thanks in Advance!

    Hi Brent!
I stayed a couple of nights in Macau several years ago. It was in january/februar. But It was really hard to find a cheap place to stay. The cheapest cost a fortune and was defenitly noth worth the price. -newer payed that much for inhalating fungus..
But it's a place worth seeing
    Have fun

As the post above says, Macua is bloody expensive, and only
worth a day. That said, its not going to be much cheaper
to stay in HKG and take the Jetfoil. Zhuhai miht be an
option, as you can across the border visa free.
Motor racing museum is worth a few hours though, and has
the most vomit inducing car simultor i've ever been in!
