Eighteen people summitted Everest yesterday....should we
leave the mountain alone now? Approximately 750 people have
now made the ascent and 150 have died - has the mystery and
awe of this mighty mountain been diminished?
While you are pondering these questions you can check out
our dispatches from the North Ridge of Everest at

Anyone with any suggestions as to any ground breaking
expeditions that I should be following can e-mail me

billy,
get real. i have been climbing mountains all my life and
it would be hard to believe that anyone loves the outdoors
as much as i do but i like to keep it all in perspective.
mountains are nothing but a pile of rocks and if people want
to climb them so be it. if they need to pay for a guided
service then thats their business. as long as people clean
up their garbage its their business not yours. we have
enough dictators in this world. if you dont have the
physical or financial means to stand atop a mountain peak
then enjoy the view from below. remember it is just a pile
of rocks.
craig..
I'm with you Craig....I was just starting a debate with the
sole intention of getting some more traffic to my site
www.adventure-mag.com where you can read dispatches from a
number of high altitude mountain expeditions.
It's painfully obvious that you're trying to generate
traffic for your site...now can you stop spamming this
board with your tired messages?
I am not a mountain climber but I can tell you that I was
just at the north base camp in Tibet and she is the most
beautiful and seductive woman I have ever seen. It is no
wonder why she lures mountaineers to conquer her. The day
I was there her long white wind swepted hair was blowing
against the crystal blue sky and she taunted many by
exposing her northern peaks. Ok...I am getting a little
cazy here....but not really.
