Tibetan Monasteries?

   Rombuk monastry near the Everest
   Base Camp has guest quarters for
   travellers. It can get cold there so bring
   a good sleeping bag.

   Drunguntil monastery and Teardrom nunnery... not too far
   from Lhasa, but feels a world away. Both are mentioned in
   Moon pubs Tibet Handbook...
