Hi all,
I'm planning a trip to Xinjiang and North Pakistan for this
summer. Does anyone have any tips for trekking in the
Mutztagata-Karakul Lake area?
Thanks
bob

There was no problem to trek alone near Karakul last year.
(I did not trek near the border).
Just be aware that there is nothing, and you have to carry
    your food and anything.
The 'yourte camp' near the lake has a restaurant, bad and
expensive. You're still hungry when you come out.
