Can anyone give me a rundown on the camping situation in
Cuba, especially the south west/east and south coastal
areas. any information would be useful-will small hotels
let me pitch a tent/ campsites? Also.. does anybody know if
the volunteer camps are still open for workers who would
like to contribute their labour towards the cuban project-if
you do can you let me have the address etc.
tips would be appreciated
david

you'll be lucky if you manage to find somewhere to camp in
Cuba, at least somewhere safe anyway, but your best bet is
to go to the tourist Varedero beach area. The only problem
is if you go here you are missing so much of Cuba, the area
is so sterile and you get no sense of the facinating
    cul

The Northern European Work Brigade is going to Cuba for one

brigade,I do'nt know about the British.Try ringing this
number which is Cuba Support Group Ireland: 00 3531 6761213.
    Good luck.
