How safe is Santa Domingo (Rio Haina and Boca Chica) in
day/night time if I walk alone around.

    spent repairing the play area and toy library of a
    children's day-care centre in Ciego de Avila. The the third
    and final week will be spent camping in Cayo Coco.

    hola,senor...was in santo domingo,higuey,bayahibe,and
    boca de yuma in march and had no problems walking around
    day or nite,with or without my companion..the people were
    kind,gracious,friendly,and honest.they endured our pitiful
    spanish when asking for directions,recommendations,et al.
    i was very impressed and hope to visit there again soon.
