Help!!

I'm looking for any info on Cuba at all, What its like, How
easy is it to find work (I'm from England) How well recieved
are Women travelling alone? Where are the best places to
go/stay, Crime how bad is it, any thing would be of use
Could anyone who replies please put "CUBA" in the subject
line

    alone in dec and had a great time,habana,trinidad,and
    veradero.lots of catcalls in street,but just ignore them.
    i understand it has changed since the crackdown in jan.
    did not encounter any crime...get christopher bakers
    cuba handbook..it is the definitive on the island.please

    Errm...good luck, I think you need to know a lot more about
    this unique country before you go there, it can be quite
    dangerous, especially for wome

    hola helen...como esta usted? traveled solomente for 2 wks
    in dec,98 and except for the"hey meja" catcalls and the
    occasional uninvited "boyfriend" at the clubs,i felt
    perfectly safe.i traveled all over habana,trinidad,and
    veradero,walked at nite,went to clubs,et al and never had
    a problem.the people are friendly,gracious,and proud of
    their country.stayed with friends in habana and at the
    hotel casa del cientifico at 212 prado in habana vieja.
    25.00 nt w/bathroom down the hall.beautiful place with
    open air courtyard.restaurant as well.it was frequented by
    lots of backpackers.in trinidad stayed at carmen luisa's
    casa particular,ate there as well.excellent food..check out

    if you like..as far as work,i have no idea...i do know that
    i want to go back in sept and see more of the island that
    i missed...santiago,santa clara,and the vinales region.
