  1. CUBA IN SUMMER Added by: Jean Pierre (gatienj@cancom.net)

Cuba in the summer is fine if you can stand the heat.It is
hot and humid and an hour of rain at night do not refresh
    the island.
Cuba is very safe for children since Cubans love children. It
is also very safe for adults compared to many Carribeans
    countries.
Most people outside tourist resorts are very honest and
    sincere.
I do not know your travel arragements nor your budget.July
and August remains an active season but a little less than
    winter and spring.
Horizontes has fine hotels, most of them, not expensives.

  2. Cuba-Good Luck! Added by: Dave

I just got back fron Cuba in March. You will not have to
worry about your safety while staying on the island. If a
cuba robs a tourist the sentence is life in prison, if he as
    a weapon it is death.
The people are wonderful, but the police are everywhere in
the resort areas, it makes you feel abit uncortable. Cubans
make $10.00 a month wages, so tourist dollars are what makes
    this country run.
If you leave the tourist area, Veradero etc, and visit the
towns near by you will truly see the real Cuba, slums,
poverty. These are the same people who are your maids,
billman. The smile at you all day long, and then go home to
poor living conditions at night, some times a one hour trip
by bus after working 10 hours a day-what a life. This is
    the real true about this
