Can anybody tell me what the voltage is at
Brisas del Caribe hotel in Varadero - 110 or 220 ?
The voltage in the UK is 240 & I want to make sure that
I'll be able to re-charge my batteries...
Cheers!

Voltage in Cuba is like in the USA: 110
Cubans use pounds like in the USA
Cubans use Celsius scales and kilometers like European
VCR system in Cuba is like in the USA
Cubans use gallons for liquids like in the USA
    Good luck!

That is not always the case - it depends on the hotel. I
stayed at the Brisas del Caribe and the voltage was 220. I
needed to get an adapter from the front desk which ended up
    blowing up my hair dryer.
FYI: the front desk WILL provide you with a blow dryer but
make sure you ask for it as soon as you check in because
    they don't have that many.
