Confused

Looking for a place to go next Christmas. We had planned on
Equador but not so sure with the bank situation. I don't
really feel like getting robbed. So now we are looking at
alternatives. We were in both Panama and Honduras and liked
them both. Honduras for the Bay Islands and Tela. Panama for
the city Isla Grande, Boquete and Guadalupe. We are not
sure whether to stick with going to Equador or look at
alternatives. What about Nicaragua? Places we missed in
Panama? Honduras not sure after the hurricane. Last time to
Roatan too touristy. Is Costa Rica too touristy? How about
Belize- Placencia? What about Venezula? (I know my spelling
is terrible) What do you think? We like some colonial
cities, hiking and nice beaches. I know Equador doesn't have
the beaches. You can't always have everything. What to do,
any advise would help. We have 17 days.

The situation in Ecuador is calming down. By Christmas unless
something new happens should be back to normal. This is a
cycle it has gone through before. Beautiful country for
hiking. The area around Otavalo is great for that. It is
safer than Belize, Panama or Nicaragua. The old city part of
Quito is one of the best preserved large colonial cities.
Been declared a world heritage site by the UN.

I am not quite sure of your response, but I certainly get
the impression that you dont't like people who travel or
people who are looking for something new to experience. I
feel somewhat sorry for you with your petty thoughts. Did it
ever occur to you that people can be extremely "comfortable"
as you say and still travel to meet the people and live in
environs that they so do. AND BY THE WAY I AM FUCKING FORTY
AND DO TRAVEL A LOT AND DO MAKE A DECENT LIVING. MAYBE YOU
WONT BE SO BITTER AND DO THE SAME FOR YOURSELF. HAPPY
    TRAVELS.
