Is it possible to get a bus out of Oamaru to Omarama? I
know that InterCity do not have a service going that way
but I imagine that there might be a smaller company that
does - I want to pick up the InterCity coach in Omarama to
get to Mt Cook without backtracking.
Also, can anyone tell me whether I can book a sightseeing
flight out of Wanaka, over Milford Sound and then finish in
Queenstown? I've done the Milford Sound day trip and
thought it would be great to get a different perspective on
it. If this trip is possible - any ideas on price - for
adult and child?

sure anymore. ---HOWEVER
I have seen a little 10-12 seater commercial operator (name
I can't recall sorry) that tootles up and down ex
Christchurch - perhaps he does a dog leg down that way.
Re Milford ex Wanaka - Ex Queenstown definitely and I am
sure they would arrange a pick-up ex Wanaka as it is only
about 30 minutes or so down the road. It possibly has an
operator ex Wanaka, but don't forget Milford can get sucked
in with mist, fog and the rest REALLY quickly. These air
boys normally have a coach back-up to get you home so I'd
probably stick to a main operator. Have you tried the NZ
Tourist Bureau's site???
