Looks like no-one is going to tell you anything so----
I am an Australian Travel Agent and a year or two ago I
visited Samoa. One property we inspected was called Le
Lagoto operated by Cookie (a Samoan fellow and his wife).
It was featured in Australia on A travel show called Get
Away. In the 'big house' there were about 6 young peace
corps poeple who I managed to have two words with and they
told me they had a ball.
I know Samoa (Western and not American) is really laid back.
On the inter Island ferry, if they are tired, they throw
their bags on the florr as a pillow and have a sleep on the
deck! The Samoans seem to be almost mathematical divided
into 6 groups of around 20,000 into 6 major Christian
religions and there appears to be no differing religion
within each village. I understand a disident religion is
not tolerated as it destroys the harmony of the village.
Hope this gives you a start and I wish you luck.
