Was wondering if anyone knew of a good 'cheap' place to stay near the airport in Harare. Was going to stay at It's a Small World but its booked out so now only staying one night in Harare on way in.
Also, does anyone know much about requirements for multiple entry visa's for Australians - I've been told you need supporting tickets of all travel if you wish to leave country and then return (want to stay in Livingstone at Vic Falls). Any info appreciated!

  1. Entry visas - Zambia Added by: Skellum

I didn't have any trouble travelling into Zambia from Zimbabwe and back re needing proof of travel (Aussie passport). But I wouldn't guarantee it as I think it sometimes depends on the mood of border officials or current political sensitivities. Just remember to always be very patient, polite and humble and you usually can overcome any problems.

    Hi
I stayed at Possum Lodge when in Harare, which was a good
backpakers. Don't worry about transport from the airport
    - we hadn't booked anything and arrived at the airport to
find heaps of reps from the various backpackers there with
mini buses offering free transport to the hostel. Getting
our luggage and through customs took so long that by the
time we were ready to go I had met several other backpackers
and we all went to the hostel together so didn't worry about
    being in a minibus alone.
