Hello everyone!!!!
I am a 24 year old female college student at the
University of WI Green Bay. I took a year off to make
some $$$ (know the feeling? - college is expensive after
all...), and am in search of summer employment in Europe.
I love to travel, am ambitious and energetic, but what's
up? How come I have such problems finding/locating
employment abroad? Has anyone ever did this and/or has
some "secrets"??? Fill me in!!!
Thanks a mill.!!!

Just south of MUNICH there is a town called Garmisch; where the U.S. runs 2 hotels for its troops over there. They like to hire yanks to work in many of the different jobs there , because it is cheaper to hire americans then the locals. There is also a ski school there in the winter. I would reccommend trying the CPO (civilian personel office ) in the AFRC HQ building located on Lazerettestrasse. One hotel is called the General Patton and the other the General Stuben--- your best bet is to go there and talk to the manager first. Also in town there is a Irish pub near the rathaus where many English speakers go so that may be a good place to get some info.
    Good Luck

I am a Chicagoan who loves to travel, and why not travel and
work at the same time. So I work at TGI Fridays, the
largest internation dining restuarant. I worked in Geneva
location before it burned down, Cancun, and now my next is
Kuala Lumpur and Johor Baharu. IN Malaysia. But I do it
like under the table. But hey whatever it takes.
