Icelandair, the national airline of Iceland, will discontinue its air
service from Reykjavik to Luxembourg. The service will cease from 9 January,
1999 as a result of falling passenger numbers. As well as being a reasonably
inexpensive flight, the Icelandair flight from New York to Luxembourg
via Reykjavik was an interesting way to spend a few days in Iceland, an
unusual country that can be a bit hard to get to.

The male sexual organs of over 60 Icelandic mammals are on display
in a Rekjiavik museum. The Tourist Department claims the museum is unique
to Iceland and the only one of its kind. While there is not currently
an example of the male homo-sapiens on display, the museum is confident
of the potential for such an exhibit - it has been bequeathed one in a
will.
