The Janey Lee Grace Really Good Gig Guide

Updated by Janey regularly

Hi ya'll - hope you've enjoyed February - the first time I've ever seen thick white snow in Central London! No matter what, the gigs go on.....

From 26th - 29th February at the Jazz Cafe It's Paul Brady.

Thursday 29th February -
For a bunch of nights at the Astoria it's the Brit Awards - Best Newcomers - Oxford indie-poppers - Supergrass. At the Mean Fiddler it's Steeleye Span, and Metalheadz rock out at The Forum. Continuing his run at the Jazz Cafe in Camden it's the guy who's been compared to Chris Rea and Van Morrison - æThe world is what you make itÆ for Paul Brady. In for a while at the Cafe Royal in Piccadilly - you can thank your lucky stars - it's Gaby Roslin's favourite singer - Dean Friedman. Eric Clapton is still at the Royal Albert Hall but as you know it's all completely sold out. Subterrania in West London it's ex Blow Monkey Dr Robert. Borderline in Manette Street it's New Zealand band The Muttonbirds.

Into March then - may Spring come soon!

Friday 1st March -
Still at the Astoria - it's Supergrass "Alright!"
Wembley Arena has the big one - hot from the controversy surrounding his antics at The Brit Awards (I was there - he didn't hurt anyone - honest!) it's Jarvis Cocker and Pulp. Support comes from Edwyn Collins and Denim.
If you get down to the Virgin Megastore on Oxford Street this afternoon around 5pm ex Iron-Maiden man Bruce Dickinson will play a short set to plug his new album - then he plays live and unplugged on FM 105.8 tonight on "Alive in London" - 6.45.

You can 'Die Hard with a vengeance' cos actor/singer person Bruce Willis plays a rare gig at The Forum in Kentish Town. At Brixton Academy it's Megadog.

Sunday 3rd March -
