HMS Belfast

The last survivor of the Royal Navy's big gun armoured warships of the Second World War, HMS Belfast is permanenly moored on the River Thames close to London Bridge and the Tower of London. Areas open to the public extend form the Captain's Bridge all the way down through seven decks of exhibition space to the massive boiler and Engine Rooms, well below the ship's waterline. On your way you will be able to see inside her triple 6-inch Gun Turrets, operate her light anti-aircaraft guns and experience what life was like for her crew by visiting the cramped Mess Decks, Officers' Cabins, Galley, Sick Bay and more. HMS Belfast has something to offer the whole family - including free birthday party facilities on board by prior arrangement.
