Vancouver
The natural geography of Vancouver immediately makes it special. Defined by the North Shore Mountains and rimmed by the Strait of Georgia. CanadaÆs gateway to the Pacific is dotted with beaches and forested parks, all linked by the arms of the great Fraser River Delta. Downtown has the 1000 acre Stanley Park incorporating restaurants, totem poles, miniature railway, zoo and aquarium. Out of town excursions to consider include a day trip by ferry to Vancouver Island, the æSea to SkyÆ highway via Howe Sound to Whistle (by car, boat or steam train) and the Rocky Mountains themselves. Plan carefully then ring with the bookings you need.
A 4 night Mini Stay in both Vancouver & Victoria is available.

Calgary & Lake Louise
Once a fort manned by the North West Mounted Police. Calgary has expanded hugely thanks to cattle ranching and oil. Nestling in the foothills of the Rockies it offers an ideal stopover in Alberta on a touring holiday. Visit the Heritage Park, Glenbar Museum and the Calgary Zoo, not forgetting to photograph the spectacular views from the top of Calgary Tower in the heart of the city. Alternatively, for a more scenic location head for Lake Louise in Banff National Park.
Note: Calgary Stampede, the ægreatest outdoor show on earthÆ takes place over 10 days in mid July.
